In May 2017 the world’s leading cement industry event will return to the historic city of Istanbul, as The Timeless City hosts our flagship conference, INTERCEM 2017.

Supported by the Turkish Cement Exporters (TCE), an organisation representing the global interests of Turkish cement exporting companies, INTERCEM 2017 is set to be the year’s largest independent gathering of international cement producers, traders and equipment and service providers, offering delegates extensive and unsurpassed networking opportunities across the sector.

To be opened by Nihat Zeybekçi, Turkish Minister of Economy, the two-day conference programme features a specially-assembled panel of industry experts that will bring delegates the latest information, analysis and opinion on key industry developments through an extensive programme of plenary sessions covering a wide range of topics.

Alongside our usual global cement forecasts, updates on industry trends and specialist shipping reports, the conference will also analyse geopolitical developments assessing the potential for future political and economic stability in the Levant region and up-to-date forecasts from often under-reported markets including Central Asia, the Balkans and the Black Sea, as well as key international markets including Russia and Iran.

Following the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to join a post-conference plant visit to NUH CIMENTO.

The registration fee at INTERCEM 2017 includes, coffee breaks, lunches and reception, event documentation and post-event access to online presentations.

Obtaining a necessary visa is the responsibility of the delegate, check with your local embassy and if you are required to obtain a visa, please allow enough time for your application to be processed before you travel.  Please be aware that in some cases visas can take up to one month to issue. For more information on visa requirements, please contact your local Embassy or Consulate. Credits will not be given where visas have not been applied for in good time.

Please note that hotel accommodation is not included in the conference fee.

You are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance, as the organiser will not accept any liability for travelling, accommodation or other expenses incurred as a consequence of a possible event cancellation or postponement.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the organisers to alter the venue and content, or the timing of the programme.


A 50% credit for cancellations received in writing on or before 5 weeks in advance of the conference start date, will be made. No credits will be made on cancellations received after this date. Credit notes will only be given in cases of exceptional circumstance (for example, on production of a medical certificate) and an administrative fee will be charged together with any balance due.
