In March 2017 the world’s leading cement conference will return to the UAE and the Emirate of Dubai, as the international cement industry convenes for INTERCEM’s market-leading annual conference for the Middle East and North African region.

INTERCEM Dubai in 1999 was the first independent, international conference for the cement industry to be held in the Middle East, and in the years since, INTERCEM has remained the meeting place of choice for the region's cement community. More than 4,000 delegates from around the globe have attended INTERCEM meetings across the region from Marrakesh in the West to Dubai in the East via Cairo, Beirut, Amman and Doha!

Over 425 delegates were present at the last INTERCEM meeting in Dubai in 2014, a notable 50% more delegates than the best attended competitor event in the region that year!
Similar numbers expected to join us from more than 40 countries in 2017.

INTERCEM Dubai will once again host a comprehensive two-day programme of supply / demand, market updates, trade reviews, technological developments and best-practice case studies. Our programme is carefully designed to bring you the news, forecasts, analysis and insight that make a real difference to your business. Specially invited industry experts will share with attendees their thoughts, experiences, outlooks and address key topics for the industry:
  • Supply and demand forecasts with updates from experts from key regional players and across the globe
  • Trading updates and analysis of international cement pricing trends
  • A focus on import markets and where long-term demand may come from
  • The impact wider global shipping and trading trends could have on the cement industry
  • Trading of cement-related products including GGBFS, fly ash, coal and pet coke
The conference will also host two special Technical Forums; one on the future of 'Alternative Fuels' in the MENA region and the second on the impact of the 'Internet of Things’ and ‘Industry 4.0’ on future cement production and logistics. Further information on these two sessions will be released in the New Year.

Our speakers and delegates are senior representatives of the leading companies involved in the cement industry across the world, including national and international cement producers - meet and network with the industry's decision-makers at INTERCEM.

INTERCEM is world renowned as the place "where the international cement industry meets" so if you are buying, selling, shipping, producing or trading cement or cement related products in the Middle East and North Africa, make sure you don't miss out on the region’s most important meeting for our industry, INTERCEM Dubai in March 2017.
