INDIA - Sagar Cements sales decline in December

The consolidated data shows that for the month of December 2016, the total cement sales was negligibly down by 0.3% as compared to sales during December 2015. South India based, large cap, cement manufacturing company Sagar Cement's consolidated data shows that for the month of December 2016, the total cement sales was negligibly down by 0.3% as compared to sales during December 2015.

The production of cement for the month of December 2016 was down by 5.93% as compared to production during December 2015.

The total sales for the month of December 2016 stands at 1,54,196 bags. The data shows that the cement sales was highest for the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Sagar Cements Ltd is currently trading at Rs 641, down by Rs 0.45 or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs 641.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 650 and has touched a high and low of Rs 650.8 and Rs 641 respectively. So far 3046(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1154.61 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 835 on 14-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 350 on 18-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 655.95 and Rs 620 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.7 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.51 % and 35.79 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 100 DMA.
